SERVICES

Individual Therapy

Individual therapy can address a range of symptoms including obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), posttraumatic stress disorder (PTSD), phobias (e.g., driving, flying, needles, etc.), school avoidance, and anxiety. I typically meet with clients once per week to address these symptoms using evidence-based treatments (more information below). Treatments that I offer include cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), exposure and response prevention (ERP), cognitive processing therapy (CPT), prolonged exposure (PE), and acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT). Therapy typically lasts three to five months and may include booster sessions.

Evidence-Based Therapy

Evidence-based therapies are treatments that have undergone clinical trials to show that they work. In the same way that medicines undergo studies to ensure that they are helpful, therapies are also tested. Evidence-based therapies are short-term, focus on strategies, and conclude with the client feeling confident that they have a set of skills moving forward.

Intensive Therapy

If you are experiencing symptoms that are significantly impacting your ability to function and a traditional partial hospitalization or intensive outpatient program does not work for you, I am happy to work with you multiple times per week depending on my availability.

Telehealth

Currently, I am meeting with clients exclusively via telehealth. This offers a unique opportunity to address symptoms from the comfort of your home. Additionally, when experiencing symptoms that are worse at home, telehealth allows therapy to focus on building a set of skills in the setting in which you experience the most challenges. I use a HIPAA-compliant videoconferencing platform to allow us to meet in a secure way.
