Frequently Asked Questions
What is your fee?
The fee for a 45-minute session is $240. Payment is due at the time of the session and can be made with a credit card.
Do you accept insurance?
Unfortunately, I am not a member of any insurance panels. I require full payment at the time of the session and then I will provide you with a superbill after the session that you can submit to your insurance company for reimbursement for out-of-network benefits. It's important to check the terms of your out-of-network benefits. These benefits will vary and some plans will reimburse the full amount for the session.
What CPT codes do you use?
When asking insurance companies about their coverage, you may need to know the procedure or CPT code that you will be submitting. The 60-minute intake session will have a CPT code of 90791 and the 45-minute subsequent sessions will have a CPT code of 90834. Throughout therapy, there may be other codes that I use, but these are the most common.
How frequent are appointments?
Typically, sessions are once a week. If you are experiencing severe symptoms that are impairing your functioning, I am happy to meet with you for more intensive treatment multiple times per week. In some instances it is more appropriate to meet every other week, which I can accommodate in my schedule as well.
What are your hours?
I work Monday through Friday and have morning, afternoon, and evening hours to accommodate clients' schedules.
What is your cancellation policy?
I have a 24 hour cancellation policy. Because of the nature of our work together and the fact that I set aside a specific time to work with you, I do charge for appointments that are cancelled with less than 24 hours notice.
Do you prescribe medication?
I cannot prescribe medication but I am happy to work together with your prescriber throughout the course of treatment.
